Groton and Ryegate are part of the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) which operates a large processing facility in Lyndonville.  The material collected at the Ryegate center is periodically transported to Lyndonville where it is combined with material from 35 other towns of the Northeast Kingdom and sold.

If you are interested in volunteering several hours a month at the recycle center, please ask at the Recycle Center.
