  • Ladies' Beginner Floor Hockey The Groton Recreation Committee is sponsoring the 6th Annual Season of Ladies' Beginner Floor Hockey!  Sundays at 9:00am starting January 13th at the Groton Community Building, 1476 Scott Hwy, Groton VT.   • The Groton town wide Reappraisal is in process. The reappraisals will be done by the Vermont Appraisal Company.  More information.  Notification was sent to Groton property owners on June 7th. Copy of the notification. As of 10/17, properties off of main roads such as Route 302 are currently being examined.

  • Fri, Feb 1: Groton Methodist Church First Friday Supper by the famous Church ladies!  The menu is our famous Pulled Pork with coleslaw, sandwich rolls, and cobbler for dessert. Come eat in or take out.  5:30 until 7:00 or until food runs out. By donation.  In the center of Groton on Route 302 (Scott Highway).

  • Sat, Feb 9: Annual Dick Page Ride-In Great Barbeque Chicken with all the fixings! 11:00am to till we run out at the Groton Town Garage, Route 302 by car. Snowmobile 1/4 mi E of Upper Valley Grill on 302. Cost: $10 per  person, eat in or take out. Hosted by the BuckaRoos of 302 Club and assisted by the Groton Volunteer Fire Department.

  • Fri, Feb 15: Groton Library Celebration  Please join us us on Friday, Feb. 15th from 4:00-5:30pm for an Open House at the Groton Free Public Library with light refreshments and good cheer. Stop in to welcome our new librarian, Jodi Wohhleb, and enjoy the library selection, too!
    This is a family friendly event, so bring the kiddos! Happily hosted by the Friends of the Library and the GFPL Trustees.
