  • Sat, Sept 3, 5:00 pm Chicken Barbecue & Pie Bring a chair. More Information.
  • Sat, Sept 3, 5:30 pm: the “Sleeping Sentinel Concert” performed by renowned musician Banjo Dan at the Veterans Memorial Park in Groton.  Sponsored by The Groton Historical Society, the Groton Free Public Library and the Groton Recreation Committee. The concert is free and open to everyone. More Information.
  • Sat, Sept 24 :Cross Vermont Trail Fall Foliage Bicycle Ride. From the Kettle Pond Parking Lot in Groton State Forest on Route 232 to Blue Mountain School at Noon for a homestyle cook out. 9:30 am: Sign In, Bike safety check and 10:00 am Start. Join in the fresh air fun of a fall foliage bicycle ride through Groton State Forest to the Wells River Conservation Area. Easy going, family friendly ride. Mostly down hill. Follow the Wells River from it's source all the way to the Connecticut River.  Free!  Information
