  • Tues, May 6 - Groton Community Club Meeting.  7:00 pm at the Library.  Everyone welcome.
  • Sat, May 10 - Playground Work Party Help install new equipment and clean up the grounds. At the Groton Playground (behind gazebo band stand).  Bring: Rake, Shovel, etc.  8:00 am.  Rain date Sunday May 11th.  Contact Steve Hart for more information # 584-3936 
  • Tues, May 13 - Red Cross Blood Drive, the BMU cafeteria 2:00-6:30 pm
  • Thurs, May 15 - Special Town Meeting to revisit Article 9 of the Town Meeting regarding the Police Cruiser. 6:00 pm at the Community Building.
  • Thurs, May 29 - Family Night Out in Vermont.  Spaghetti Dinner $1.00 (age 5 or under free) at BMU. All welcome. Served 5:00 - 6:30 PM. Community Resource Information, Activities and Door Prizes.  Sponsored by Cottage Hospital, North Country YMCA & Rivers Reach. 
  • Mon, June 2 - Book Discussion of Jane Austen's Mansfield Park at Groton Library at 7 PM.  Copies available at library.
  • Fri, June 13 - Last Day of school!
  • Sat, June 14 - BMU Graduation. 10:00 am
  • Sat, June 28, Household Hazardous Waste collection at the Peacham Transfer Station, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Or by appointment at the Lyndonville NEKWMD facility. June - Sept.  626-3532
