  • TOWN OF GROTON CIVIL ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE THROUGH OPEN BURNING AND INCINERATION - Full Text  adopted June 5, 2014.

  • Vermont State Parks and Historic Sites Passes Now Available. Call (584-3358) or email the library to reserve a free day pass for up to 8 people in one vehicle at any Vermont State Park or Historic Site.

  • Music in the Park - Thursdays, July 10 - Aug 21, is Groton's Music in the Park sponsored by the Town of Groton, Brown's Market Bistro, Artesano Meadery, The Bridge Weekly Sho-Case, and WYKR 101.3 FM. Bring your own chair, the concerts happens Thursdays at 6 pm rain or shine at the bandstand in the center of Groton on Rt 302. Artesano Meadery will provide the venue in the event of rain.

  • Church Summer Suppers at the Methodist Church in Groton. Thursdays 5:30 pm until all are served. July 10th through August 14th. Traditional covered dishes by the famous "Church Ladies" - great eating! Suggested donation $8.00 adults/ $5.00 kids up to age 10 years.

  • Mon, July 28: Page-to-Screen Book Discussion of "Monuments Men" by Robert Edsel.  7pm. Contact Anne at the library if you would like to borrow a copy to read.  (See Movie Night on the 21st.)
  • Thurs, July 31 - Methodist Church Summer Supper 5:30 pm until all are served.
  • Thurs, July 31 - Music in the Park 6 pm, "Alan and the Doctor". Rain or shine, 6 pm at the bandstand in Groton.
  • Sat, Aug. 2, Squishy Circuits: Building Circuits with Conductive Play Dough. Using jumbo LEDs and batteries we’ll build playful and colorful sculptures. Kids ages 3 & up are invited to learn how to build unique sculptures that light up! 9am-12pm at the Library: Sign up: grotonlibraryvt@gmail.com/802.584.3358. (Participants under 10 with an adult please.)
