  • Special Selectboard Meeting January 11 at 6:30 pm to finalize budget and Warnings for the town report Agenda

  • Ladies' Floor Hockey begins January 14 on Sundays at 9:00am in Groton! Sponsored by the Town of Groton's Recreation Committee & free to all participants.Convenient location – Community Building in Groton (rte 302).Play is open to women in Groton AND neighboring towns.NO experience necessary!  Just sneakers!   • Rail Road Bed Activity: The Selectboard has formed a Committee to   develop an ordinance to govern the Town's Rail Road Bed property.  Material relevant to this committee can be found by clicking on "Town Government: Offices" in the left column and then "Rail Bed Comm" in the left column.  The next Committee meeting, which is open to the public, is on Friday, January 19th at 6:00 pm at the Community Building.

  • Sun, Jan 14: Floor Hockey - see above description.
  • Thurs, Jan 18: Groton Methodist Church Third Thursday Supper by the famous Church ladies!  The menu is Homemade Soups and Bread and Dessert.  Come eat in or take out.  5:30 until 7:00 or until food runs out. By donation. In the center of Groton on Route 302.
  • Sat, Feb 10: Annual Dick Page Ride-In Great Barbeque Chicken with all the fixings! 11:00 am to till we run out at the Groton Town Garage, Route 302 by car. Snowmobile 1/4 mi E of Upper Valley Grill on 302. Cost: $10 per  person, eat in or take out. Hosted by the Buckaroos of 302 club and assisted by the Groton Volunteer Fire Department.
