  • The Groton Select Board normally conducts the second meeting of the month on the third Thursday. This normally scheduled meeting is being moved to May, 28, 2015 starting at 7:00 PM
  • The Selectboard is currently reviewing and adopting Financial Policies based on the model policies of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns. To see the status of this work, click on "Town Policies" in the left column of this page.

  • Wed, April 22 & 29 : Free Yoga Classes at 6:30 pm at the Groton Community Building co-sponsored by the Groton Library & Groton Recreation Committee. Residents of all towns & all yoga levels are invited to take advantage of 4 free Wednesday yoga classes, taught by Kelsey Root-Winchester of Rising Spirit Yoga. Bring your own mat, or contact the library to borrow one.  Beginners welcomed! (Class dates: April 22, 29 & May 6, 20 at 6:30pm.)

  • Tues, May 19, 7 PM, THE HUNGRY HEART Movie followed by a Panel Discussion for Questions, Answers, Conversation & Support.  DRUGS DON'T AFFECT YOU? THINK AGAIN!  At the Blue Mountain Union School.
    This is a 1 hr. 15 min. long documentary providing an intimate look at the impact of drugs from the perspective of addicts to family members and more. Our panel will consist of addicts, family members, members of the Grafton County Dept. of Corrections, VT State Police Dept. & Clara Martin Rehab. Center.  Refreshments and Childcare Provided. Support of this community event provide by: BMU faculty and students, The Parents for BUCKS, South Ryegate Neighborhood Watch and BMU Community Relations Committee.

  • Sat, May 23rd: Outdoor Growers Market - first of the season!  9:00-1:00 on the lawn of the Groton Community Building .... your favorite vendors will be there, with bells on for our "Ready, Set, Grow" market.
  • Fri, May 29-31: Becoming an Outdoor Family Weekend at Stillwater State Park
  • Sat, Sun, June 13 - 14 Vermont Days at Vermont State Parks. Free day admission to all of the State Parks for that entire weekend...
