  • The Groton Ice Rink, located on Puffer Field, is now open to skaters, and on Tuesday night, Feb 9th, at 6 pm there will be the first broom ball game. All are welcome. Equipment needed will be a broom and warm boots. There is no charge to use the rink and there is plenty of room. Thanks for all who work to make this possible.  The ICEologists: Frank Lapham, Tristan Vaughan, Nathan Puffer, Alan Massey, Tony Rossi, Troy Oliver and Crew, Harold Hatch and many others and a special thanks to the Groton  Fire Vol. dept  for use of the Equipment.

  • Community Meals now being served again Thursday at noon at the Bistro.

  • Sun, Feb. 7 - "Travels With Kisses" with John and Susan Gordon at Groton Library, 2PM.  Join the Gordons for a travelogue of their 3 month trip across our great country sampling many of our glorious National Parks and collecting photos and stories along the way. All are welcome to leave winter behind for a little while!
  • Sat, Feb 13 - Dick Page Ride-In!  At the Groton Town Garage on 302. 11:00am to Last Chicken.  Great BBQ Chicken with all the trimmin’s- $10/dinner Eat-in or Take-out. Come by car or snowmobile. Everyone Welcome! Hosted by the Buckaroos of 302 Snowmobile Club
