2nd annual Let's Go Fishing Derby in Groton

Leslee Tocci and her husband Don Schmidt, shown with Vermont Game Warden Kevin Carvey, hosted the second annual Groton Let's Go F9ishing event at their small pond on Seyon Pond Road last Saturday, May 19. Schmidt says 80 youngsters took part in the event this year and the derby might have to find another body of water as it may have outgrown their pond. Many volunteers help the couple organize and run the event and a number of area businesses and individuals sponsor the derby.
